Den bayerska kurorten Bad Kissingen är känd över hela världen för sina välgörande källor. Samtidigt får man höra traditionell blåsmusik med kurortens egen Ungdomsmusikkår. Ungdomsmusikkåren kan se tillbaka på en nästan hundraårig tradition av blåsmusik. År 1906 lades grunden till en förening för blåsmusik. Den första hornblåsorkestern bildades 1958, och detta blev också basen för en ungdomsorkester som bildades 1964.
Ungdomsmusikkåren kläddes i uniformer med de Frankisk-Bayerska Grenadjärernas uniformer från 1812 som förebild. Dessa uniformer var de sista Frankiska militära uniformerna samtidigt som de var de första Bayerska efter att frankerna införlivats i Bayern. Från denna tid är musikkåren en representativ ambassadör för kurorten Bad Kissingen och spelar alla typer av blåsmusik. De omkring hundra medlemmarna är välkomna gäster i Tyskland, övriga Europa och hela världen.
Ungdomsmusikkåren har framträtt i Argentina, Kina, Frankrike, Italien, Österrike, Spanien och USA. Musikkåren finns dokumenterad på både CD och DVD. Nu välkomnar vi dom till Eksjö Tattoo. 		The Bavarian Spa Town Kissingen is worldwide known with the thearpeutic of the healing springs. At the same time sounds the traditionell and symphonic wind music of the "Youth Music Corps of the Spa Town Kissingen". The Youth Music Corps looks back over a time of nearly hundred years of wind music history. In 1906 a society for music was founded in the Spa Town. This society was the base for the "Wind Orchestra Spa Town Kissingen.
The Wind Orchestra founded a "Fanfare Corps" in the year 1958. This Fanfare Corps was the base for a new "Youth Wind Orchestra" in the year 1964. The hour of birth: "Youth Music Corps of the Spa Town Kissingen."
The Youth Music Corps became dressed with the traditionell uniform of the "Franconian-Bavarian Grenadiers of 1812". This uniform was the last Franconian Military Uniform and the same time the first Bavarian Military Uniform, after the connection Franconia into Bavaria. From this time on the Corps is the representativ ambassador for the Spa Town Kissingen. The Corps plays all facettes of windmusic. About hundred musicans are well seen guests in Germany, Europe and all over the world. The Corps played wind music allready in Argentina, China-Peking, France, Italy, Austria, Sweden, Spain and the USA. CD,MC and DVD are documents of the youth sound from the Corps. The Youth Music Corps is the "Most lovely child of the town"
